I couldn't be more pleased about my transaction with VAP auto. The
package came almost immediately after i paid for it! Everything i
paid for was included (which is hard to come by these days.) VERY
detailed and correct instructions. I bought the intake spacer for my
2004 v6 mustang. Very simple install. As far as power goes. For the
price, you cant beat it. I definitely feel a much better torque
difference in the lower RPMs. I've had it on my car for many months
now and I'm loving it, very recommended product/company for a v6
enthusiast.

I ordered my intake spacer and my shift kit from VAPauto. I love
both items but, i have to say the shift kit is amazing. The before
and after is like night and day. Both purchases were smooth and
shipping is very fast. I only wish he sold more stuff, I will be
buying more from him.

Finally a bolt on you can actually feel! I just finished installing
a VAP Windstar kit and I am impressed with the gains. Online you see
many companies selling things with "Dyno Proven" numbers but when
you get the product you feel totally scammed. That did not happen
with this product. After putting it on there is a definite
difference in the mid-upper RPM range and the initial torque seems a
bit better also.
I cannot say enough about the amazing customer service at VAP. Due
to my limited mechanical knowledge, I ran into a few issues but with
the prompt responses from Steven I was soon headed back in the right
direction.

I got the mail-in J-Mod done and I am 110% satisfied. The shifts
are fast and tight when you get a heavy foot and smooth and almost
unnoticeable when driving sensibly. I can even chirp the tires on
my nearly stock 3.8L Mustang when accelerating hard. Steven was a
huge help - replying to questions almost immediately, and updating
me quickly every step of the way. The J-Mod was finished very
quickly, meaning I was only car-less for a few days. I would highly
reccommend the J-Mod on any V6 Mustang.

Installed my intake spacer last spring and my J-Mod from VAP this
weekend. Also added a large transmission oil cooler for good
measure. The J-Mod is great. The car shifts like it was meant to
now. Intake spacer is great also.

This is a very good upgrade for the camaro. From the first time down
the driveway to the highway you can definitely feel the difference
in the torq band from idle to four thousand rpm. That my friends is
your usable rpm, how often do you go above that. It is a much
tighter fit than the mustang so the difficulty of the install is
more but the gain is much more.

More noise, more power, more SPEED! The Windstar Kit was a great
upgrade and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The instructions
actually have pictures so you can see if your on track and the
wording is clear. When it came to customer service I was blown away.
I got responses very quickly and all my questions were answered.
This was by far the best buying experience I have ever been through.
Shipping took about two days, amazing help from Steven, and I
absolutely love the power increase.

I ordered one of VAP's Single Port Intake Manifold Spacers for my
1998. I thought installation would be much more difficult than it
was, the instructions really left nothing to be asked as it guides
you through everything you need to know and/or do. As for the gains,
combined with my built motor, it really helped boost my car's
mid-range power as well as keep temps cooler for an extended period
of time. This is a huge factor for a car that spends it's time
autocrossing and open tracking. I highly recommend anyone and
everyone ranging from a daily driver to a full track car to purchase
one of VAP's spacer kits. You can't beat the price for the gains
that you get both performance-wise and cooling-wise. Thanks Steven

I own a 2003 V6 Coupe and about a month ago I purchased a spacer,
confident in my opinion that it would be worth the investment. It
was. Installation was simple, taking no more than 25 minutes,
aligning easily and not interfering with things such as the 2-point
strut brace on the car. On the initial test drive the gains were
noticeable. The car improved on acceleration and rolls through the
low gears seconds faster, almost like a shift improvement kit for my
automatic. You can honestly feel the difference thanks to this
spacer, a neat and valuable speed part for the V6 crowd. Thanks for
a hassle-free purchase and a great product and keep up the good

Just put the spacer on my stang. The first thing I really noticed
was the decrease in heat on the upper intake. There is also a
noticeable improvement in the throttle response. It is worth every
penny.

Ok the car shifts smooth when I'm
cruising. Smoother than it did with my old valve body. And when I
get on it on punch it, its hard and fast. The car is picking up
speed very fast. Again Thank you. I wish there was more people like

Review
The Windstar kit from VAP is nothing short of impressive. I
received the kit from Steven this spring, and the first thing I
noticed is how well thought out and put together the kit is.
Everything is included and laid out clearly to assist in a very
simple installation with very few issues. Steven did just about
everything for you short of coming to install the kit himself. He
really has thought of everything to help install this kit with as
little issues as possible.
The performance gain of the Windstar kit is also something I was
impressed with. I had heard the rumors of how much more pep the car
had but I usually just pass it off as the mind playing tricks. This
kit is the real deal. I did some testing with it to see how much
better it made the car performed. At the Memphis Motorsports Park
road course, with the stock intake I would only hit 110mph at the
end of the longest straight away. With the new Windstar kit I hit a
top speed of 120mph and consistently hit 115mph every lap. By the
end of my first weekend with the new kit I had shaved off almost 9
seconds from my fastest lap. At the Nashville Super Speedway, I had
to adjust my shift points due to the extra power helping wind out
the gears much faster. I was able to go 2 seconds faster than my
fastest time at that track. The best thing was that the power was
consistent lap after lap because the intake stayed cool enough to
touch.
Overall I have to give this kit two huge thumbs up. From someone
that actually races the car, I can say that it is a very worthwhile
modification. Every time I had the hood open people were asking
questions and giving me complements on how cool the new intake
looks. They also cant believe a V6 can keep up with the bigger
horsepower cars. From the quality of the kit to the gains in power,
VAP has done the homework and come out with a great kit for the end
user.

Everything was there in the box, nothing was damaged, great
packaging. Made a great improvement on take off. Smooth transaction,

results. The instructions are straight-forward, and everything
bolted up without a problem. VAPAuto has great customer service, and

I got the spacer and J-mod, both made a noticeable improvement in
the way the car performs. Shipping was super quick and steve was
awesome in helping me iron out any problems I had. I only wish he

I discussed for a while with Steven prior to my jmod purchase. There
were many details I wasn't clear on and he cleared them up for me in
a very timely fashion with the details and cleared up any confusion
I had prior. Definitely made me feel like a valued customer, which
is hard to find these days!
I then ordered a J-mod separator plate from VAP Auto, and it arrived
pretty darn quick! The instructions were fantastic (although they
didn't quite solve the whole lack of knowing what I'm doing part,
but that'll come with experience hahaha) and my car shifts SO much
better now. Definitely worth it, no doubts about that!

I recently order the
j-mod valve body & intake spacer and WOW what a difference. The
valve body swap is very easy to do and it's a night and day
difference in the car. The shifts are harder and faster. I'm also
very happy with the spacer that wasnt very hard either. Both items
came with everything I needed. And the customer service was
"AWESOME" !!!
For the price the items cost in my opinion it's the most bang for
your buck that you can go with!
