J-Mod Kits for the 4R70W

The J-Mod shift modifications were designed by a Ford transmission engineer, these modifications allow for faster shifting and extended transmission life. The J-Mod does this by allowing faster fluid flow, thus greatly increasing the shift time. Easy installation, all you need is a ratchet set and several quarts of Mercon V ATF. If you don't feel comfortable installing the j-mod you can take it to any transmission shop and have it professionally installed. Please email me with any questions on installation.

Q. Does the J-Mod work with a tuner that also firms up shifts?
A. Yes! Tuners firm up shifts by raising the line pressure where as the J-Mod quickens shifts by allowing more fluid flow in the valve body. Together a tuner and j-mod will give you un-beatable shifts! Your tune does not need to be updated for the J-Mod.

Valve Body or Separator Plate? What's the difference?
The complete valve body already has the separator plate installed and will offer easier installation, simply swap valve bodies. Purchasing just the separator plate will require removing the original separator plate from the valve body and replacing it with the modified one. Both end results will be the same.
