The Windstar Intake Kit Dyno Results
Johnny's 2003 3.8L Mustang, Dual Exhaust, 10psi Procharger

This gives Johnny an impressive 10RWHP and 26FT/LB gain from the Windstar Intake kit alone and an astounding 22RWHP and 35FT/LB gain with updated tune and timing advance! What's even more impressive is where the torque gain occurs. Notice the huge area under the torque curve between the stock and Windstar lines. That's not just a bump in peak HP; what you are seeing is a huge increase in torque throughout the entire mid RPM range!

To give you a very rough idea on how much you will gain on a stock car you can take his gains times the ratio of stock peak HP over his peak HP. It will look something like this.

10HP * (190/277) = 6.8 HP
26FT/LB * (190/277) = 17.8 FT/LB

These numbers are very close to the estimated 7HP and 15 FT/LB gain you can figure from comparing the HP numbers of a 3.8l 96-98 Windstar to a 3.8l 99-04 Mustang.
